Treaty No. 7

The Blackfoot and others signed treaty No. 7 at Blackfoot Crossing in south-central Alberta. The Natives surrendered the land to the Crown in return for reserves, farm implements, instructions in agricultural techniques, payments and annuities.

Crowfoot had a prominent role
in the treaty negotiations.
