Tsunami Hits BC Coast

Jan 26, 1700 - The M9 Cascadia Megathrust Earthquake occurred at about 9:00 pm, creating a massive tsunami that pummeled the pacific coast. Haida Gwaii and Vancouver Island sustained the most damage.
