Project Ploughshares sponsors roundtables and conferences to present its perspective to opinion leaders and policy makers and works in conflict regions to encourage demilitarization. The organization publishes the Ploughshares Monitor (quarterly) and the Armed Conflicts Report (annual). It participates in the Youth International Internship Program, funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
Project Ploughshares is part of the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies at Conrad Grebel College (affiliated with the University of Waterloo) in Waterloo, Ontario. It is sponsored by the Canadian Council of Churches and supported by national churches and civic agencies, community groups and more than 10 000 individuals.
