Golden Reel Award

The Golden Reel Award (GRA) was established in 1976 by the Canadian Motion Picture Distributors Association to recognize the producer(s) of the Canadian feature that achieved the highest box-office gross in Canada. Since 1980, the GRA has been awarded by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television and presented at the annual Genie Awards. No award was given in 1998.
